Abstarct: Abstract The wage of the workforce is interest to policymakers from various economic and social aspects. And there is extensive literature on its determinants. In this study, economic factors has considered and the effect of macroeconomic variables on labor wages of workers has tested using panel data regression model. The sample of the study, according to available data, included 29 different jobs over 1995s1 to 2018s1. The econometric software of Eviews used to estimate the model and analyze the data. Real wages as dependent variable and inflation rate, growth rate of real economy, unemployment rate, minimum real wage and SDR exchange rate has considered as independent and exogenous variables of the model. Estimation results of model show that: The effect of unemployment rate and inflation rate on real wage level is significant and negative; the effect of real economy growth rate, exchange rate, minimum real wage rate are significant and positive; the model supports the theory of real wage stickiness. The results of the descxriptive statistics analysis of the trend of real wage and other research variables show that: during the 45 half-year, the exchange rate has increased 16.8 times, the consumer prices index (CPI) has increased 29.3 times, the average nominal wage of the workers has increased 49.3 times, and the minimum nominal wage has increased 58 times over research period. However the real minimum wage has doubled and the real sector of economy has grown by 2.7 times, but the average real wage of occupations has increased only 1.7 times. On this basis, we concluded that persistence of unemployment and inflation with double-digit rate in the country caused the slope of the real wage increasing is lower than the slope of the real sector growth of the economy, and the labor force has exploited. So that the minimum wage law does not prevent labor exploitation.
